Mountain Mindfulness: Hiking, Breathwork, and Meditation Above North Conway ($25 Ad-on ticket required)
Thursday February 20, 2025 4:15pm - 6:15pm EST
Step into the serenity of nature and immerse yourself in a transformative journey of mindfulness atop the stunning Black Cap trail overlooking North Conway, NH.
Kaitlin will guide you, blending the invigorating energy of hiking with the profound tranquility of meditation, creating a harmonious fusion of body, mind, and spirit.
Upon reaching the scenic vista, we'll pause to soak in the breathtaking panorama before us. Here, amidst the tranquil embrace of nature, we'll settle into a soothing meditation practice, anchoring ourselves in the stillness and spaciousness of the present moment.

**We'll gather in the parking lot of Theater in the Wood promptly at 4:15 PM to ensure we depart on time and make the most of our mountain mindfulness experience. Look for our friendly team, ready to welcome you & coordinate carpooling to the trailhead.

What to Bring:
For our journey along the Black Cap trail, it's important to come prepared for comfort, safety, and enjoyment. Here's a checklist of essentials to bring along:
  1. Comfortable Hiking Shoes: Opt for sturdy, supportive footwear that's suitable for uneven terrain. Your feet will thank you for the extra stability and grip.
  2. Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Layers are key for mountain adventures, as temperatures can vary throughout the day. Dress in breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics, and consider packing a lightweight jacket or rain shell just in case.
  3. Daypack: A small backpack is perfect for stashing essentials like water, snacks, sunscreen, and any personal items you may need along the trail.
  4. Water Bottle: Stay hydrated on our journey by bringing along a reusable water bottle filled with plenty of refreshing H2O.
  5. Snacks: Energize your body with nutritious snacks to keep you fueled and focused throughout the hike. Trail mix, fruit, and granola bars are excellent choices.
  6. Camera or Smartphone: Capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the landscape with a camera or smartphone to cherish the memories of our mountain mindfulness adventure.
  7. Optional: Yoga Mat or Blanket: If you'd like to enhance your meditation practice with a comfortable seating surface, feel free to bring a lightweight yoga mat or blanket.
Distance of the Black Cap Hike:
The Black Cap trail offers a moderate yet rewarding hiking experience, spanning approximately 2.2 miles round trip. With an elevation gain of about 800 feet, it's a manageable ascent suitable for hikers of varying skill levels.
