Acro yoga is a very playful practice combining yoga, acrobatics and therapeutics. Generally done in groups of 2 or 3 for safety & connection. In this class we will dive into the basics of spotting, basing & flying. These techniques & practices build strength, flexibility, body awareness, confidence, communication & community. Learning to read each other's bodies, guide movements & breath to assist another in accomplishing a pose, sharing some giggles or releasing some tension. Step into a sanctuary of serenity with Katie O'Connell's 5-Element YinYasa. This unique offering seamlessly blends the best of both worlds: the gentle, grounding practice of Yin with the fluid, rhythmic movements of Vinyasa.
We begin with a series of Yin deep stretches, allowing you to sink into each pose, releasing tension and restoring balance to your body and mind. Next, we transition into a slow flow sequence, where movement becomes a meditation in itself. Finally, we culminate our practice with the ultimate relaxation: yoga nidra savasana.
